In loving memory of Mildred Gregory Whiting, a devoted mother whose tireless work cleaning houses and renting rooms secured this land for her son, Donald Whiting, to build upon. 

The Whiting Heritage Foundation is dedicated to honoring her legacy, ensuring future generations have a strong foundation to build their dreams upon.

Here stands the legacy of Donald and Lonzie Whiting, alongside their four children—Kevin, Lonzie, Donald, and Blondell—and their grandchildren—Kevin, Alisha, Kristopher, Christina, Kyle, Leah, and Mya (not pictured) and Rusty — united in love and honoring the foundation established by Mildred Gregory Whiting.

Our beloved mother, Lonzie Whiting, always vowed she would "live forever", and like always, she was correct. 

On October 26, 2014, in a heartrending yet miraculous moment, on the same day, in the same hospital, and on the same floor, she transitioned to heaven just as her first great-granddaughter, Orchid Faye Buchanon, was born—a poignant testament to her everlasting legacy, forever woven into our hearts and the new life she welcomed from above.

Her message is very clear... "Peace Be With You"
